Vacuum Cleaners for Allergic Patients

Ordinary vacuum cleaners return the most minute particles of dirt back into the room!  The collection bags must be porous in order for the air to pass through – otherwise they would burst or burn out the motor.  These tiny particles go furthest into the air passageways in the nose and lungs, and are, therefore, a cause of serious problems to allergic patients.  There are two excellent solutions to this particular problem:

A central vacuum system, (available from Sears Stores or Budd Vacuum Company, Wyckoff,  NJ), installed in a house with plastic tubing running through the walls to plug-in outlets, and all of the dirt is whisked through the hose which plugs into the wall outlet and down to the basement and vented to the outside!

Hepa filter. Both of these systems do an excellent job of reducing particle matter in the air, and when used over a period of time make a significant difference in the symptoms of many allergic patients.
